The educational activities of TTAF focus primarily on blind children. This was traditionally done to get out of their isolation and to teach them in a boarding school braille and develop social skills for two years.
Recently TTAF partnered with local organizations to develop a plan to give far more children the opportunity to get good (secondary) education. Children are not placed for two years in an boarding school but participate from the beginning with additional guidance and resources in the mainstream schools.
