Death of Jan van het Veld

On 1 January 2020 our board member Jan van het Veld passed away very unexpectedly at the age of 63. He had broken his hip in October and had undergone a number of operations. On the 31st of December he had two cardiac arrests after a pulmonary embolism and died in the hospital in Amersfoort. 

For TTAF it is a heavy loss: Jan had been involved in the foundation since 2015 and with his calm way of operating, he had an unmistakable contribution in both the development of the foundation and in the relief efforts in Ethiopia. 

Jan leaves behind his wife, 3 children and in-laws and a number of grandchildren.
